The Bianca Rae Foundation organizes a dog adoption event and saves 12 lives

The Bianca Rae Foundation held its annual adoption event, Gardens to the Rescue presented by G&M Oil CompanyOctober 2 at The Gardens on El Paseo.

Once a year, the foundation brings together animal welfare groups, shelters and desert shelters to bring adoptable pets to the gardens. The event saw vendors donate a portion of proceeds to the foundation, along with live music, raffles and adoptable dogs.

“We always like to shine a light on young talent,” said Bianca Raefounder of the Bianca Rae Foundation.

Animal groups involved included animal samaritans, love all animals, California paws, Coachella Animal Network, Desert Humanitarian Society, Live freely and Riverside County Animal Services.

The event resulted in eight adoptions and four additional animals were able to leave Riverside County Animal Services and go to Animal Samaritans, a no-kill rescue.

“We are so proud to have saved 12 lives, with many more adoptions promising or pending,” Rae said.

Once a year, the Bianca Rae Foundation brings together animal welfare groups, rescues, and desert shelters to bring adoptable pets to El Paseo Gardens.
