Pamplin Media Group – Opening of a new dog trainer, overnight kennel and groomer in Estacada

Golden Amore puts animals first with a personalized touch, 40 years of experience with dogs.

When Lori Fuller was laid off from her job during the pandemic, her future was uncertain.

Having cared for and trained dogs for 40 years, her children pushed her to pursue what she knew. So, at the beginning of this year, Fuller decided to open Golden Amore.

The family business is located at 29730 SE Old Ranch Drive in Estacada and offers a spacious setting for dogs staying overnight.

Fuller has worked with animals since she was a child and was part of the local 4-H organization. His parents were both dog trainers.

“Training and showing dogs has always been my passion,” Fuller said. “Now I can do it while I’m at home, and it also allows me to spend time with my family and my dogs.”

Fuller tried to make Golden Amore a one stop shop for many canine services. From overnight kennels to basic obedience training, dog grooming and boarding, Fuller wants to provide the best experience for every dog that walks through our doors.

We try to have a personalized touch here,” Fuller said. “Our kennels are cleaned daily, are safe, and the dogs in our care get attention all day. There are others that don’t provide some of the things we do like dog doors that allow our dogs to go outside whenever they want.”

Fuller is also proud of Golden Amore’s country setting which provides a more naturalistic space unlike other concrete kennels.
