Special Dog Adoption Offer Offered at Fairfax County Animal Shelter

FAIRFAX, VA – As St. Patrick’s Day festivities continue through the weekend, pets at the Fairfax County Animal Shelter

As the weather warms up, there’s no better time to adopt a dog to have as a walking companion. From Thursday to Sunday, the animal shelter will waive adoption fees for dogs over 7 months old to help families find their “lucky charm”.

Patch is working with the animal shelter to share adoptable pets. Residents can make appointments to visit adoptable pets by emailing the animal shelter at animalshelter@fairfaxcounty.gov. The animal shelter is located at 4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax, VA. To view adoption policies, click here.
