Jill Rappaport Hosts 45-Dog Adoption Event in NYC
Watermill animal advocate and television personality Jill Rappaport is hosting a special adoption event with the Big Apple Circus Big Top at Damrosch Park in New York’s Lincoln Center on Tuesday, November 8.
During the pandemic, animal shelters have seen a dramatic influx of adoptions, but as life returns to normal and inflation rates continue to soar, many of these animals are sadly being turned away.
With that in mind, the Big Apple Circus has partnered with Rappaport and its “Rappaport to the Rescue” brand to feature 45 adoptable dogs – one for each year in celebration of the Big Apple Circus’ 45th anniversary.
Admission is free and guests will be entitled to complimentary refreshments. Several wonderful shelters and foster care organizations are participating from across the tri-state area to facilitate adoption applications and share their wisdom about these precious pooches.
