Furever Valentine Dog Adoption Event Postponed

JAMESTOWN, Ohio (WDTN) – HALO K9 Behavior Consultation was planning to hold its first-ever “Be My Furever Valentine” event on Sunday, but has since been postponed.

From 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 6 at HALO’s training barn at 2839 Jamestown Gunnersville Rd., HALO has planned to hold its “Be My Furever Valentine” event.

The new date for the event is Saturday, February 12.

According to our partners at Xenia Gazette, HALO said they have 8-10 dogs available for adoption. They will be a variety of breeds with much larger size.

According to the Xenia Gazette, tables will be put up with information on each dog, ages ranging from seven months to seven years. Adopters will be asked to complete an application and a home visit may be scheduled before the dog is released.

Dogs six months and younger typically cost $350 to adopt, while those six months and older cost around $150. All dogs are fixed, microchipped and up to date with shots, our partners said.

HALO relies on private donations and will accept donations of food, crates, toys, bedding and dog leashes. The organization is also on the Amazon and Chewy wishlist.
