Dog trainer under investigation after viral video shows dog tackled to the ground

Heartbreaking social media video shows authorities investigating a dog training center for animal cruelty… and the footage of the dog being brutally tackled to the ground is pretty damning evidence.

It happened at a place called TyCalK9 Dog Training Center in Arcola, TX… outside of Houston. The video, which we must warn is hard to watch, shows the trainer barking a command at a German Shepherd.

Apparently, the dog did not heed this command, as the trainer grabbed the animal by its leash, swung it over his shoulder, then threw it onto a cement floor. You can hear the dog moan as he struggles to get back on his feet.

The gruesome video sent social media into a frenzy and also prompted the Fort Bend County prosecutor to launch an animal cruelty investigation.

The DA says: “We cannot share details as the investigation is ongoing, but we take these matters seriously and in no way condone animal abuse. A thorough investigation by experienced investigators and prosecutors on animal cruelty is ongoing.”
